Game room, August 2008

The theme is golf inspired. Needless to say with a golf inspired theme room, we were also able to utilize the space as an office, being that the space was large enough to do so.

The client also wanted to utilize the space as a 'gift wrapping' area. Fortunately, I was able to utilize the game table which is multi-functional; consisting of different card games to roulette.

Behind and below the game table is an opening for wine bottles and storage for poker chips and other game accessories. Instead of utilizing the area for which it was designed, I was able to take advantage of the cubbies and wine bottle space for spindles of ribbon, tissue paper, gift wrapping paper, gift bags, scrapbooking stickers, etc.

The client was impressed and enjoys the game room as she wraps her gifts.

The following photographs are 'after' only. Being a bit 'hasty' with the finished project, I forgot to take 'before' photographs.

I was so motivated to accomplish the staging project that I forgot to take 'before' photographs

The following are the 'after' results:

The client was unable to paint the walls due to the lease agreement as it is a rental property. However, we were able to work with what we had.

Does paint make a huge difference? Absolutely, however I work with what is given to me and here is the finished product.
